Cirrus Training

Begin, or continue, your flight instruction with a Cirrus training program, which provides you with the same training programs that Cirrus uses during factory flight instruction. In most cases, this training can help reduce your insurance rates when you fly a Cirrus aircraft.

MacAir Aviation has two Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilots (CSIPs) on staff. We also have two Cirrus SR22 (Avidyne) aircraft to support your training, or you can bring your own Cirrus aircraft.

You can also combine your training with a trip to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force and Dayton Aviation Heritage sites. Learn more about local attractions.

Training Options

We offer a variety of Cirrus Avidyne and Perspective training, including:

  • CAPS Training

  • Transition Course

  • Advanced Transition Course

  • Airframe and Powerplant Differences Course

  • Avionics Differences Course

  • Instrument Procedures Training

  • 90-day Refresher Training
